Hi there! I’m Kayla, a native New Yorker who still calls NYC home. I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer who documents more than brides and babies. I capture the most intimate moments of people’s lives whether that is at the altar during your first kiss and husband and wife or in the comfort of your home getting all of those new baby snuggles. Before I was a wedding photographer, I had just about every job you could think of; a barista, camp counselor, retail associate, I may have even taken your order at Chipotle. But I always had a love for photography, I just didn’t know how to go about making photography a part of my life. I went to college in Manhattan and after four years of studying psychology, I realized it wasn’t truly my dream. So after graduation, for the next year or so, while I made people’s morning lattes, I would practice my craft of photography literally wherever I went.
Little by little this dream of mine became a reality and I’m so glad that you here to be a part of it! I am so incredibly grateful that I get to work with amazing couples and families and create a lifetime of their memories. I strive to capture your moments that would otherwise be gone in the blink of an eye, in the most beautiful and meaningful way.
Some fun facts about me; I love the summertime, no matter how hot it gets here in NY. You can find me on the beach any given weekday. I love NYC and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else (except maybe Barcelona). I myself am married and said I do at the young age of 20 years old. I absolutely love traveling, and I have fallen in love with the most beautiful cities like Barcelona (Duh), Budapest, & Cape Town just to name a few and there is nowhere that I wouldn't go. I am an absolute sucker for Broadway musicals, and I love dogs and alpacas because they are so stinking cute. If you made it this far and enjoyed what you read, I think we’d be a good match, so feel free to send me a note!
As a photographer, I have been featured on Martha Stewart Weddings, Inspired by This, & Brooklyn Bride.
