Romantic Elopement in Old San Juan Puerto Rico

It’s about 20 degrees outside today, so naturally I chose today to blog this beautiful tropical elopement. If you read my last blog post you’ll know that I went on vacation a few months ago to Puerto Rico. Well I couldn’t visit the beautiful island with out doing just a little bit of work. I took the opportunity to partner up with some amazingly talented Puerto Rico based vendors to create a beautiful, colorful, and romantic elopement. Everything about this screamed Caribbean destination wedding. Our vision for this elopement was Caribbean influence mixed with old world romance. Seeing how San Juan is a 300 something year old city, we wanted to really take advantage the old world elements. The venue, Hotel El Convento itself was originally a convent for nuns hence the name El Convento. It was filled with beautiful old art that had only been discovered some years ago behind layers of paint and remodeling. I’m so grateful to have worked with so many amazing industry pros on the island. You can find their info down below if after reading this you’re inspired to ditch your big wedding plans and elope to this beautiful island.
