This one one of my last engagement sessions in 2018, and it could not have ended on a better note. Elizabeth and Eric were two of the sweetest couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Their story was special to hear because like my husband and I were, they are deciding to get married at a young age. I admire this, knowing who you were meant to be with so early on. You literally get to see each other grow up and experience all that life has to offer together. We made our way out to Stonybrook LI, right before sunset to take a walk in the park. We were surrounded by the warmth of the fall leaves and golden light. We even snuck over a fence to capture a beautiful shot of the park and lake. These two really know how to have fun and really enjoy each others company. I can't wait to see them tie the knot later this summer!
Ohh fall, you came and went. And when you were here you were a delight. I must admit I never really liked the change of the seasons, especially the transition of summer to fall (I am all for summer all the time). But this year, I had so many amazing couples who dreamed of doing their engagement session in the autumn season. Andy & Jesse were one of them. Their wedding will be in Brooklyn next year, and so they decided what better place to have their session than prospect park. After much rescheduling due to weather, we were finally able to do their session at the end of October. Luckily for them (and me) the leaves were at their peak and we got all the red, orange, and yellow goodness of the foliage. Mix that with golden hour and you’re bound to make some magic. To top it all off, Jesse looked dynamite in her vintage (and thrifted, thank you very much) skirt paired with cherry red heals, nails and lips. Her and Andy totally nailed their session, giving me all the editorial looks one could imagine. I loved it! We made a stop by the lake and the Prospect Park boat house. It was such a great evening for photos and I really enjoyed getting to know these two! We totally vibed and I’m excited to document their wedding next year!
