There is something about backyard weddings that are so special, especially when you can fit your entire family back there! Eric & Elizabeth’s wedding was filled with so much love by their friends, family, and a ton of kids!
I wouldn’t say Spring Lake NJ is particularly close to me, it’s about a 1.5 hour drive actually. But for these two sweet souls, it was so worth it! Michelle & AJ were the perfect pair; you know, the right amount of sweetness and goofiness needed to make an incredible engagement session.
As a photographer, I get invited to document the most important stages of someone's life. I come into their home, talk with them, share in the most intimate moments. This newborn session was one of those.
Well, it’s been a bit more than a month since our trip to Israel and I’m excited to finally share photos from this trip. A lot of people were asking us what made us want to go here. The trip was sort of spontaneous but it’s somewhere we have always wanted to go. My grandfather is from Israel and so I have a lot of family still living there. The country also holds a lot of historical and biblical importance and so as Christians, it’s somewhere we felt was significant to visit for that reason.
As a wedding photographer, I think it’s safe to say that every wedding photog dreams of shooting a wedding in Europe. It is #goals for pretty much anyone in the wedding industry. But to be honest, I didn’t expect it to happen to me in only the second year of my business, and here we are, it’s 2019 and I’m blogging about my first European destination wedding.
If you’ve ever been stuck deciding between a session at sunrise or at golden hour in the evening, perhaps this blog post is just what you needed. Stephanie & Kevin reached out to me early this year with a desire to do an engagement session.
If you’re looking for inspiration for your fall wedding, then look no further! This fall editorial inspired shoot happened just as we were entering the month of November. The Ryland Inn in New Jersey is the perfect place. It is surrounded by huge trees which turn a beautiful yellow, red and orange autumn hues in the fall.
This one one of my last engagement sessions in 2018, and it could not have ended on a better note. Elizabeth and Eric were two of the sweetest couples I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting. Their story was special to hear because like my husband and I were, they are deciding to get married at a young age.
I don’t know about you, but there is nothing sweeter than an at home newborn session. These sweet parents welcomed their baby girl Leah and they were head over heels with her. While waiting for her arrival, Leah’s dad made the sweetest art for her nursery featuring the beloved Winnie the Pooh.
Back in August, I was asked to assistant shoot for BRIDES live wedding along with the incredible Jenny Fu Studio. Jenny is an amazing photographer I met through a creatives group in NYC. I’ve worked with her a few times before, but I was totally surprised she considered me to help her with such an important opportunity, and of course, I said yes! Every year, BRIDES magazine throws an all expenses paid wedding for one lucky couple.
’m just kidding, I’m not moving to Spain but I’d definitely consider it! If you're not a fan of artsy fartsy photos of breathtaking landscapes, gothic architecture, or charming city streets, this post is not for you. If those are things you live for then keep scrolling. Two weeks ago I had the privilege of shooting my first every European wedding in Hungary. This post is not about that, but stay tuned! After Hungary, I traveled to Spain, specifically Barcelona, with stops in Murcia to visit my best friend and a day trip in Cartagena.
Ohh fall, you came and went. And when you were here you were a delight. I must admit I never really liked the change of the seasons, especially the transition of summer to fall (I am all for summer all the time). But this year, I had so many amazing couples who dreamed of doing their engagement session in the autumn season. Andy & Jesse were one of them.
It’s about 20 degrees outside today, so naturally I chose today to blog this beautiful tropical elopement. If you read my last blog post you’ll know that I went on vacation a few months ago to Puerto Rico. Well I couldn’t visit the beautiful island with out doing just a little bit of work. I took the opportunity to partner up with some amazingly talented Puerto Rico based vendors to create a beautiful, colorful, and romantic elopement.
This is a blog post I have been wanting to share for a while now and finally found the time. As I begin to travel more, I’ve been making more of an effort to actually document my travels, something I tend to forget to do. Sometimes I think that since I’m on vacation I shouldn’t take photos but I’m trying to break that habit.
This happened to be my first time visiting Princeton University and what better reason to drive almost two hours than to capture an engagement session?! To say that this was a perfect fall engagement is an understatement.
