Hi there! I’m Kayla,

a native New Yorker who still calls NYC home. I am a wedding and lifestyle photographer who documents more than brides and babies. I capture the most intimate moments of people’s lives whether that is at the altar during your first kiss as husband and wife, or in the comfort of your home getting all of those new baby snuggles.  Before I was a wedding photographer, I had just about every job you could think of; a barista, camp counselor, retail associate, I may have even taken your order at Chipotle. But I always had a love for photography,  I just didn’t know how to go about making it a part of my life. I went to college in Manhattan and after four years of studying psychology, I realized it wasn’t truly my passion. So after graduation,  for the next year or so, while I made people’s morning lattes, I would practice my craft of photography literally wherever I went.

Little by little this dream of mine became a reality and I’m so glad that you here to be a part of it! I am so incredibly grateful that I get to work with amazing couples and families and create a lifetime of their memories. I strive to capture your moments that would otherwise be gone in the blink of an eye, in the most beautiful and meaningful way.

Some fun facts about me; I love the summertime, no matter how hot it gets here in NY. You can find me on the beach any given weekday. I love NYC and wouldn’t want to live anywhere else (except maybe Barcelona). I myself am married and said I do at the young age of 20 years old.  I absolutely love traveling, and I have fallen in love with the most beautiful cities like Barcelona, Budapest, & Cape Town just to name a few and there is nowhere that I wouldn't go. I am an absolute sucker for Broadway musicals,  and I love dogs and alpacas because they are so stinking cute. If you made it this far and enjoyed what you read, I think we’d be a good match, so feel free to send me a note!

Meet Mario

Mario is the newest addition to the Kayla Tiffany Photography team and he also happens to be my husband! He is a native Filipino, born and raised on the beautiful Island of Cebu and speaks fluent Visaya & Tagalog. He has a degree in Environmental Earth Systems Science, so basically he is a smarty pants. He also serves as Kayla Tiffany IT tech support and forever troubleshoots any issues I may have with my computer or camera. Although he assists me with weddings as my second shooter, his photo niche is sports, street photography & portraits. When Mario isn’t watching youtube videos about the newest camera gear or out and about in NYC, he loves watching anime, learning a new song on the guitar, and playing basketball.

Our Story

What kind of wedding photographer would I be If I didn't just tell you a little bit about our own journey? Mario and I got married at the ripe age of 20 as juniors in college where we met as freshman. He captured my attention when he sang at a talent competition and looked directly at me during his whole performance and even threw a wink at me! After developing the closest friendship, we decided to elope at City Hall on September 5th, 2013. Now this was before I became a wedding photographer and so we don’t have any professional photos of that day which always makes me kind of sad, but we have so many other photos of us (both professional and iPhone ) since then. Of course our marriage was never always easy but we have come to a place where we can enjoy each other, learn and understand one another through guidance from God’s word and our communication with each other. There is no one else I would rather have to lead me in this crazy world than him. Our love has taken us on many journeys and adventures and our greatest one is yet to come in November as we will prayerfully be welcoming a baby boy into our little family. I can’t imagine anyone else working by my side. He is the best partner, friend, and second shooter I could ask for.
